    Kelly Van Patter, of Van Patter Design, has  been designing for  television for over 20 years and more recently has branched into commercial and residential projects. Her goal: to simply make every project as green, low-impact and healthy as possible. In 1999, while working as the Production Designer for "Survivor" (the first of five seasons), Van Patter witnessed the detrimental effects of global consumption in smaller countries. This became the impetus for her passionate commitment to the environment and the founding of Van Patter Design.
